Residential Comprehensive Service Plan

To assure you a warm and worry-free winter with MARITIME ENERGY'S Comprehensive Heating System Service Plan.

Maritime Energy's plan includes:
• A heating system tune-up including a complete system safety check
• Adjust burner controls and ignition system
• Clean or replace fuel and air filters
• Clean or replace fuel nozzles
• Oil all bearings
• Clean and vacuum heating unit and smoke pipe to the chimney
• Drain and test expansion tank
• Test-fire unit
• Adjust burner for optimum efficiency


GENERAL CONDITIONS

MARITIME ENERGY Comprehensive Service Plans are available to all customers who purchase their entire year's fuel supply on an automatic delivery basis and maintain satisfactory credit standing for the term of the plan.

MARITIME ENERGY reserves the right to inspect and approve the equipment for Service Plan coverage before it is issued.

MARITIME ENERGY provides the convenience of automatically renewing Service Plans from year to year unless either party gives prior written notice of cancellation.

MARITIME ENERGY services are offered for normal wear and tear and usage and do not apply against floods, fires, or acts of God.

MARITIME ENERGY cannot be held responsible for any delay or failure to supply service or materials because of conditions beyond our control.

MARITIME ENERGY offers the convenience to transfer Service Plan to new owners if residence is sold within the Service Plan term.

MARITIME ENERGY offers the ability to budget the Service Plan. If payment is not received or budget arrangements made within 30 days of billing date, the Service Plan may be cancelled and all work performed and parts used will be billed at our normal rates.

If Service Plan is cancelled, the cost of the work completed and months past will determine if there is a refund. A 20% penalty will be applied.



Heating System Exclusions
•Parts damaged by lighting strikes, power surges, or power outages
•Heat exchanges or boiler sections
• Complete burner upgrades
•Complete steam low-water cut-offs
•Domestic water coils, piping and water tanks
•Radiators and baseboard heating coils
•Frozen pipes/oil lines
•Contamination from oil leaks
•Power venters and draft inducers
•Testing or replenishing anti-freeze
•Parts and labor needed to bring systems up to code
•Labor to remove or install parts not covered
•Parts no longer available through normal sources
•Limited to one replacement/yr of circulators, circulator motors, or zone valves
•Structural changes to remove or replace old heating system not included
•Oil Tanks or associated piping
